Jennifer Pearson was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where she grew up loving sports and outdoor activities including skiing, cycling and hiking. She attended The University of Kansas and received a BA in Psychology and completed pre-requisite courses for a Physician Assistant Program. After college she enjoyed 3 years of living in Steamboat, Colorado working in a Physical Therapy Clinic and took advantage of all the mountain had to offer. In 2001 she graduated with a Masters degree from the Yale University Physician Assistant Program where she was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship. This scholarship took her to work in an underserved community in Worcester, Massachusetts for 3 years. During this time she was married and living in Boston where she and her husband had 2 children. In 2008 they returned to Denver to be close to family and friends. Jennifer worked in Urgent Care in Denver for 3 years and came to Smoky Hill Family Medicine in 2013. Her personal interests include skiing, cycling, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
